Elysian Drop Troops can attack directly from their Valkyries, rapelling, fast-roping or  deploying directly onto the ground. Drop Troopers are also equipped with a grav-chute, which they use to deploy directly onto the battlefield, jumping from the back of a high flying Valkyrie airborne assault carrier. Once a Drop Trooper hits the ground he discards his bulky grav-chute, freeing him to fight less encumbered.
