Swift, strong, and tenacious beyond mortal reason, Flesh Hounds run their prey to the ground without mercy. Those who seek to trick or destroy these daemonic beasts with sorcery find their powers flickering to nothing, extinguished by the wrath of Khorne.

Bloodthirsters are the mightiest of Khorne’s daemons, the fury of war given terrible form. Every one of these towering beasts is the equal of an entire mortal army.

None recognise the presence of the Daemon known as the Changeling before it is too late. A master of illusory disguise, the Changeling secretes itself amongst its quarry, sowing confusion and misdirection. Upon throwing aside its fleshly masquerade, the Changeling uses trickery and its trickster’s staff to openly blast its foes.

Spoken of in fearful whispers by warlords and kings, Archaon is the shadow of Chaos falling upon the Mortal Realms. Greatest of the Dark Gods’ champions, the Exalted Grand Marshal of the Apocalypse, he is the Everchosen - the doom of all. Uniting the armies of Chaos with his fist of iron, wielding the legendary daemon sword known as the Slayer of Kings and mounted upon the terrifying, three-headed beast Dorghar, he rides out to meet the forces of Order and tighten the grip of Chaos. The Three-Eyed King, the World Razor, the Thirsting Predator – Archaon will see to the end of Sigmar, and unmake the Mortal Realms in his own terrible, howling glory.

The Idoneth Deepkin of the Ionrach Enclave visited the living mountain known as Beastgrave many times over the centuries, claiming countless souls from the Silent People. The celebrated Isharann Soulrender Elathain was tasked with leading his own foray, but his failure damned him, along with his companions – the soul-bound thrall Tammael, the bond-beasts Duinclaw and Spinefin, and his sworn Ishlaen escort, Fuirann. Now known as Elathain Ill-fated, he seeks to claim redemption with a bounty of spirits.

Chaos Lords are dark champions who have walked the Path to Glory almost to its conclusion. They now stand only one step away from glory or damnation, ruling great warbands and commanding mighty hordes. Shrouded in unholy glory and the legend of innumberable conquests, their devoted followers would rather die than fail these fearsome warlords.

Vizzik Skour was created in the apocalyptic fires of the Vermindoom, and has the distinction of being the chief priest of the Horned Rat, Lord of the Gnaw, and master of the mind-shattering death frenzy. The force of this daemon's diabolical zeal is enough to crack the land and drive Skaven swarms into a frothing frenzy.

Wherever Khorne's followers do battle they raise up Skull Altars – dread monuments from which to offer tribute to the Blood God and receive his blessings in return. Rising from the ground, the Skull Altar is formed out of the violent tributes heaped in offering for Khorne’s Throne.

Mannfred serves at Nagash’s right hand. It is an occupation which he greatly resents, and he is ever watchful for a means to free himself from his servitude to the Great Necromancer. Though some warriors judge themselves by the standards of the enemies they vanquish, Mannfred is no slave to conventions of honour or glory. Ends concern him far more than means; if the choice falls between slaughtering the meek and vanquishing the mighty, he chooses slaughter.

Chaos Sorcerers wield the energies of magic unbound. Theirs are the old traditions of the soothsayer and the tribal shaman, empowered by eldritch gifts from their patron deities.

With their cyfar compasses and dowserchimes, the Soulscryers can map the dark corners of a being's soul as well as those of the Mortal Realms, marking them out as both priests and navigators among the Idoneth. Whether their quest leads towards spirit-plunder or along new paths of the whirlways, the Soulscryers divine the way. In addition, the Soulscryers can single out a battlefield's richest quarry, illuminating them as a prime target for all Idoneth Deepkin

A Plaguepack is formed of a Plague Priest and their entourage. These fervent ratmen are devoted to the Great Corrupter and his vision of a befouled cosmos. Alongside a Plaguepack scuttle rotten rodents, some carrying shards of warpstone crystal – a useful power source for any Plague Priest mid-catechism.

The Clans Moulder will regularly create new and terrifying creatures to unleash upon their enemies, but none quite as depraved and horrific as the Hell Pit Abomination. A writhing mass of muscle, bone and mechanical components, the Hell Pit Abomination is a living mountain of misshapen flesh that towers over the battlefield below ready to crush, tear and devour anything in its path.

At first they appear as spectral blurs in the ethersea, distant streamlined shapes that seem to materialise from nowhere. With powerful thrusts of their sickle-finned tails, the forms grow all too quickly as they launch their attack. Sleek, muscular and built for dealing death, Allopexes are legendary predators of the deep oceans. Attracted to blood, they feed upon anything they can fit into their large jaws. The mouth of an Allopex is lined with serrated triangular teeth, razor-edged saws which can bite man-sized holes in prey. With blades attached to their fins and riders manning harpoon launchers atop their backs, the Allopex is a living weapon of war.

Like all aelves, Namarti Thralls possess a physical grace that to other races appears supernatural. The Thralls march to war for the Idoneth as the main body of their infantry, and it is their task to engage and hold the enemy in place. In battle the Namarti fight with an array of weapons known as lanmari – two-handed swords, great scythe-axes or pole-axes of intricate design. The weight and reach of such weapons are useful when driving off the enormous sea creatures that bedevil the Idoneth enclaves, while their broad blades are suited to scything through the teeming swarms of predatory fish that seek to prey upon the aelves.

Kairos Fateweaver can see the past and the future, and uses this ability to twist destiny to suit his own malevolent purposes. This twin-headed terror is a master of magic, able to transform foes into tentacle-ridden Chaos Spawn, or incinerate them with multicoloured blasts of fire. He is the Oracle of Tzeentch, and wherever he goes, change is sure to follow.

The greatest of Tzeentch’s daemons, the Lords of Change shimmer with raw magic. With a flick of its claw, a Lord of Change can hurl foes into nightmares, or blast enemies with the wyrdfires of Tzeentch. Such canny creatures can steal opponents’ spells for their own use, or send mutating rays from their rod of sorcery to destroy entire enemy formations.

Varghulfs are the most degenerate of all Ushoran’s vampiric brood, their bestial nature reflected in their unholy form. Nevertheless, to the ghouls, the Varghulfs are saintly champions indeed – paladins blessed with incredible strength, who live in hermitage until battle calls. When the Varghulfs emerge from their dens, throngs of mordant serfs follow them to war with a rapturous joy.

Tomb Kings are the ancient, long-dead rulers of Nehekhara, reborn through the archaic rituals of their Liche Priests. Only the most prestigious rulers can harness the undying will of a fearsome Necrolith Bone Dragon, much less ride such a behemoth into battle. These reanimated wyrms descend upon the living, given unnatural flight by skeletal wings, before lashing out with wicked claws and jagged fangs. Those who survive must contend with clouds of seething dust and desiccating smog, for a dragon's breath is lethal even in death.

Bedecked in rusting weapons and wearing the fading scraps of once-proud armour, Deathrattle Skeletons are the unflinching core of many a Soulblight vampire's army. Not only are they tireless, remorseless warriors, but also diligent workers in the fields of the Deathrattle Kingdoms, ruled over by Wight Kings as the shining ideal of Nagash's entropic necrotopia.

Thanquol is fuelled by an addiction to warpstone and delusional self-confidence, remarkable even for a Skaven. While most of his plans go awry, he has become a master at spinning disasters to his advantage – as well as obliterating the bodies and minds of naysayers with powerful spellcraft. Thanquol is accompanied at all times by a colossal Rat Ogor that he calls Boneripper.

Radukar is a cruel and savage Vampire Lord who rules over the city of Ulfenkarn. In battle, he wields the barrow-blade of a legendary vampire emperor, which, combined with his bestial nature, makes Radukar a fearsome foe indeed. If you're looking to assemble a collection of Soulblight Gravelords hailing from the cursed city of Ulfenkarn, Radukar the Wolf is the perfect general to lead them. Not only is he a suitably narrative choice, but he's a daunting opponent to face in combat, as well as being a spellcaster.

The Scriptors Mortis record the rise of Nagash’s empire and punish any who would stand against it. With a mere flick of a quill, they sentence souls to be dragged to the underworlds, condemning them to an eternity of torment. It is said that the quill is mightier than the sword – in the spiteful scribblings of the Scriptors Mortis, this metaphor is made real.

Royal Decapitators are the unholy executioners of the Flesh-eater Courts, viewed with unease even by fellow ghouls – more than hunger or duty, they care only for the dealing of death. Dragging huge, tarnished axes behind them, the Royal Decapitators serve their lieges as gibbering executioners, and delight in taking worthy heads.

Auric Runefathers inspire awed devotion in those they command, fearless and mighty warlords who stand at the head of each Fyreslayer lodge. Mounted atop a flame-belching Magmadroth, a Runefather thunders into battle and hacks down enemies with his long latchkey grandaxe, while his steed tears foes apart by the dozen with its searing talons and blazing maw.

The Reclusians are the warriors of the Ruination chambers, their identities eroded by countless Reforgings over centuries in service to the God-King. Though they are close to becoming more engine of war than human, their lightning-scoured souls are extremely resistant to Chaos, allowing them to tread where no other servant of Sigmar could hope to survive. This multipart kit builds three Reclusians and a pair of shadowy Memorians for use in Stormcast Eternals armies in Warhammer Age of Sigmar. These morose warriors are ideal for hacking through the toughest of enemies.

Even the Astral Templars respect the monster-killing prowess of Knight-Questor Sylas Beastbane, and with that monstrously heavy head in their hand it’s easy to see why. You can use this model to replace a Hero in any Stormcast Eternals army. He also comes with a unique warscroll for use in narrative and open play games, where you’ll quickly discover that few foes can stand up to the one-two punch of his Questor Axe-hammer.
